• John Peel & His Playlists (plus) Thoughts on Peel’s radio show and sessions, and pdf files stating when ‘The Spider’ and ‘Rabbit Pie’ (March 84) were played on his Radio 1 Show (Also, there’s a new sound file on the Releases page)
• Earlier in the year a video of Party Day onstage surfaced. Dean Peckett had sent me a transferred copy from an old VHS tape. It’s from the transitional period in Dec 1984 when Party Day (Carl and Mick) shared the stage with Second Coming (Dean [soon to be of PD] and Brian Bettney). They shared the Set too. Expect a film for YouTube soon. God Bless you Dean.
• the Party Day YouTube page. After seeing a number of great fans show off their own versions, albeit mainly in a some what stilted way with the visuals (mainly using my photos from this site), I have caught the bug and created fully fledged videos for the tracks;

• And WOW . . . there’s now a Wikipedia page for Party Day out there too. This has led to the band being added to the Med Library.Org (the open source encyclopaedia) too. Thank you kind Sirs.
• Party Day Records were listed in the book - They Could Have Been Bigger Than EMI: A discography of now defunct independent record labels that released vinyl (3rd edition Part 1 - Europe) Fall 2012
• the Reviews section has been revamped, and there are now separate pages for the live, single and ‘LP and EP’ reviews (thanks to DP for the Simplicity review): as  for the additions . . .

• Mixtapes: Party Day were featured on several tapes at 8tracks.com. So for starters, here’s a sample of three on the site -

• Obscur(ish) 80s Goth and Post-Punk with ‘My Heroine’
• Obscur(ish) 80s Goth and Post-Punk Vol.2 and ‘Sovereign’

• A youtube mixtape  Post Punk. Vol II_0002, with The Comsat Angels, Play Dead, Party Day (‘Precious One’), The Cult. Although "there's nothing to see - so move along"!
• A short lived (even for the the web) youtube film from the Czechs titled Post Punk Mix 1985, featured ‘Rabbit Pie’ (Feb 2015)
• PD made it into a ‘Top 100 Greatest Post-Punk Albums’ list that was created in 2014. And ‘Glasshouse’ was  listed at no.93 (site: Best Ever Album's Ever)
• Best Kept Secrets - A recommendation for the Simplicity Album (June 2008)
• Noted in The Gothic Music Handbook -1995
• the British Library had included both singles’ A sides to its Archive. How ever, it was unclear whether it was either the online SoundServer Jukebox or only available in the Reading room

• A Photo-news item from Sounds 1982 was added to the main photo gallery
• There was a re-vamp to the Party Day story, now re-titled as The Start of …, and listed here as pdf files. Also the Section included two gallery pages of Party Day - Photos (promo and in the studio) and the You Tube videos
• The interview section was expanded to two pages and now had:

• a ZigZag interview (1986)
• four fanzine interviews from Attack on Bzag, Artificial Life, Roar and an unknown (1982-84). The fanzine interviews are pdf files . . . And all were recently unearthed
• the missing Sounds interview (‘Party Time’) was sent to me by Dean Peckett (cheers)

• Bootlegs: What a year for finding dedicated fans.

• Marc Berger’s compilation ‘Sounds of the Vault, vol.1’ (2001) was moved to the bootlegs section. This collection included ‘Atoms’ years before the mainstream compilations and playlists noted the power and beauty of this song - which has become the defining Party Day track . . . so far
• Several more internet only compilation bootlegs have been unearthed, mostly featuring ‘Atoms’ (as popular as ever):

• having established that The Black Lamps have Party Day roots - they released their debut album ‘of the same name’ Jan 2015 (review) and were interviewed by the online mag Louder than war.com (Nov 2014). Further info about the band is on the ‘And Now’ page
